From up above, enjoy Arizona’s vibrant Sonoran desert as the backdrop for a must-see bucket list experience. We offer afternoon rides daily (weather permitting) from November through March, launching about one hour before the sun goes down.

Over our 40+ years of operation, Rainbow Ryders has had the honor of being part of some of the world’s largest and most celebrated hot air balloon festivals. Three events that we are the official ride operator of are:

Where the Journey Starts
Before the Phoenix-based Rainbow Ryders team takes you to the launch site for your private or shared flight, they will meet you in Glendale at 7934 N Glen Harbor Blvd, Glendale, AZ 85307, which is just off of W Northern Ave near Loop 101. This convenient meeting spot is just a few miles away from the State Farm Stadium that is adjacent to the Westgate Entertainment District, giving guests from all over the Valley of the Sun easy access to hot air ballooning—we commonly get visitors from cities like Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Peoria, and Surprise.
